He is now neutered. He loves to play and be held. He will sit with you and be pet for along time unless he hears something more interesting and then he wants to go check it out. He is going to be a big boy. He is little box trained. He loves to play with cat toys and anything little he can bat around. He does fine with the cats in his foster home. He will hiss at new cats until he gets to know them and then things seem to be fine. He has a loud purr on him and shows that off when you pet him. He loves to run up the stairs and balance on the half wall around the stairs. He likes to hang out on top of the cat scratch and act like one of the big cats. When he's roaming around the house he never forgets to go to his litter box to do his duties. He loves to be held and you can even cradle him in your arms like a baby. He gets along great with the other cats in his foster home. He doesn't even mind the dogs although some like to chase him and then he'll make sure he gets on his side of the baby gate. Skittles is the biggest of the litter of kittens. He is playful but does seem to be the most laid back of the litter. He loves to play with his brothers and sisters but he also likes to sit back and watch them play too. He is eating and drinking on his own. He uses the litter box. He is very healthy. He has had his first shots but will need a distemper booster and rabies when he is 12 wks old. We have seen an increase in the number of animals not being claimed by their owners. Fostering is a necessary, but temporary situation for these animals. We have a good placement record, but we have more dogs and cats that need foster homes than we have homes for them. The animals in the shelter are strays so we don't have a lot of information (age, good with kids, good with other animals, etc.) about them before we take them into foster care. A lot is learned in the first few hours they are in the foster's home. What we do know is they will have their shots and are not vicious. They might not get along with
