He will be on fish oil pills and a joint supplement for the rest of his life just to make sure things keep going well for him. His adoption fee is $125.00 2-22-14 Humphrey is now AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION- his skin issues are all cleared up and he has soft beautiful fur now. He is a senior but he has spurts of energy like a puppy. Then he likes to lay down and sleep awhile. He does ok with most other dogs big or small, he likes his own space so if a dog is bothering him he will bark and tell them to get away but I've never seen him try to hurt any other dog. Cats on the other hand, Humphrey loves to chase cats. I don't know if he would hurt them but he doesn't seem to like them very much so a home with NO cats is best. He adores all people young and old. He will give you lots of kisses. He has free roam in the house and does good. He will steal good smelling food off the counter so its best to keep that kind of stuff put away while you're not home. He's housrtrained! He's already neutered and all up to date on shots. He is an awesome dog looking for an awesome family to love him forever. He will need to be on joint pills and fish oil pills for the rest of his life to help him get around better and keep his skin from itching too much. He will give a growl to let the other dogs know he doesn't want to play or be messed with but he turns right around and gives the dog he just growled at a good sniff and then there is no problems. It just seems to be a warning growl and the other dogs seem to understand it because they don't growl back or get in his face, they just go to sniffing each other. Its unknown if he likes cats yet. He does seem to be house trained. He went right to the back door to get outside and he went potty right away. He loves to sleep and eat. He will lounge on the couch or bed all day if you let him. If he does decide he wants to get up and move around he likes to explore the back yard. He needs a home where he can be an inside dog but have access to a yard so he can go out and enjoy himself and explore. His tail is always wagging and he is a happy boy. Even happier now that he has love and a warm place to sleep but he would be EVEN happier if he had his very own forever home.
