She loves to curl up in your lap even though she's a little too big to do that. She is a beautiful girl and loves to make her people happy. She knows sit, wait and lay down. She is also potty trained now. She is also crate trained. She does need to be fed inside her crate as she is food aggressive and doesn't like other dogs around her food or crate. It would probably be best that Greyson go to a home with no other pets. She doesn't care for small dogs much at all. She will play with some other big dogs so if you have a big dog and think you would like to meet Greyson we could see how it goes with dog introductions. Greyson did have hip surgery as a puppy and her one leg is just a little shorter then the other but it doesn't slow her down one bit. And she should have no further issues with it in the future. If she wants to run fast she will just pick up the shorter leg and run on three legs. When she slows down she will use all of her legs. Greyson is a wonderful sweet dog when she is with her people. Its other dogs she has issues with sometimes and doesn't like to share her food with other dogs. She has never once showed any aggression or anger towards people with or without food. She will gently take treats from your hand. She will easily learn new tricks with rewards of treats. She would probably do best with kids 12 and up since she is still pretty energetic and could knock over young kids by not watching out for them. No one claimed her and she was starving when we took her in. She is in foster care, gets along with some dogs thats she's met. She would probably do best as the only dog because she does have some food aggression issues. She protects her food and kennel from other dogs. She has NEVER been aggressive towards a human who tries to take her food. She will be going for a vet check and will be spayed if she's old enough. She also has a hurt hip right now that we need to X-ray to see what the problem is. She is not housetrained yet, but she's smart, she'll catch on soon. She loves to play with toys. She wants to run but her hip limits her right now. She likes to cuddle with you on the couch or in bed. She sleeps great in bed at night. She's like a heated blanket. She also does well in her kennel at night. Greyson does protect her food from other dogs so we are working on correcting that. Greyson does know sit and she will sit and wait for a treat. She can sit and wait for along time. Greyson will need to be an indoor dog. She doesn't tolerate the heat well so I would assume she won't do well in really cold weather either. She needs a cozy dog bed to curl up in!! She is up to date on all her shots and is frontlined. She is on MEDICAL HOLD until we figure out what we need to do with her hips.
